A self-taught photographer, Robert prefers a variety of top quality large format film and digital cameras, which accompany him in documenting the spirit and majesty of the earth's wildlife and wild places.
Recent expeditions have taken Robert throughout North America, the South Pacific, Europe, Africa, the Arctic and a circumnavigation of South Georgia Island below the Antarctic convergence. Most recently, Robert has just returned from hiking and documenting the 230-mile John Muir trail in California's Sierra Nevada Mountains.
In 2007, Robert received over twenty International Photography Awards, and was awarded the "Wild Places", Winner of the prestigious "Wildlife Photographer of the Year", hosted by the BBC and Natural History Museum. Robert's photographs will be displayed in a traveling exhibit in museums throughout the world.
